We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. School hours are 7:30am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday. After-school activities and supervised prep run from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The school gate opens at 7:00am and late arrivals after 7:45am are recorded.
School fees can be paid via direct bank transfer to our GTBank account (Account Name: Bright Stars Academy Ltd, Account No: 0123456789), through the online payment portal on our website, or cash/POS at the school bursary office between 8:00am and 2:30pm on weekdays. A receipt is issued for all payments.
We follow the Nigerian National Curriculum as prescribed by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC). For Senior Secondary School, we prepare students for the West African Senior School Certificate (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO). We also provide JAMB/UTME preparation for SS3 students.
You can apply online by completing the Student Admission Form on this website, or visit the school admissions office at 15 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1 between 8:00am and 3:00pm weekdays to collect a physical form. All applicants are required to sit a written entrance assessment. Results are communicated within 5 working days.
Required documents include: original and photocopies of birth certificate, last school report card (Primary 2 and above), transfer certificate from previous school (for transfer students), two recent passport-sized photographs, and proof of parent/guardian identity. Additional documents may be requested for SS1 entry.
Yes. Bright Stars Academy operates a school bus service covering major routes including Lekki Phase 1 & 2, Ajah, Victoria Island, Chevron Drive, Sangotedo, and Ikate. Term-end academic reports are issued to students on closing day and are also available through the Parent Portal on our website. Log in using the email address registered at admission and the password provided at enrolment. For technical issues, contact our IT helpdesk at it@brightstarsacademy.edu.ng.
We offer a wide range of clubs and activities including: Debate Club, Chess Club, Coding & Robotics Club, Drama Society, School Choir, Mathematics Olympiad team, Science Club, Press Club (school newspaper), Football, Basketball, Athletics, Badminton, and Table Tennis. All students are encouraged to join at least one club.
Nursery pupils wear the sky blue polo shirt and navy shorts/skirt with white socks. Primary students wear the white shirt/blouse with navy trousers/skirt. Secondary students wear the white shirt/blouse with navy trousers (male) or the blue-checked pinafore (female). Sports kit — navy and gold — is required every Wednesday and on sports day. No jewellery or fashion hair accessories are permitted during school hours.
Bright Stars Academy currently operates as a full day school only. Boarding accommodation is not available. However, after-school supervised study runs until 4:00pm and our school bus service ensures safe transportation home for all students.
We maintain a maximum class size of 30 students to ensure every child receives adequate individual attention from the teacher. Nursery classes are capped at 20 pupils per class, with a teacher and a classroom assistant in each Nursery room.
We have a dedicated School Counsellor and Welfare Officer available to all students Monday to Friday. Students experiencing academic difficulties, social challenges, or emotional concerns are encouraged to speak with their class teacher or visit the counselling office directly. All counselling sessions are strictly confidential.
